Women want to look attractive. Period. And when most of us women in first world countries go to our closets in the morning, we have choices. What to put on?
Good news! God tells us what to put on! Really! It’s right here in Colossians 3, starting at verse 12: “Put on then…compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.” And then the garment that ties it all together: “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”
If we began each day, perhaps as we open our closets, (or our Bibles), and asked God to help us put on compassion, kindness, and the rest of these attributes we would really grow in attractiveness. Because let me tell you, this kind of woman, or man, (and this is addressed to both sexes), is mighty attractive, both to God and to others.
